     In the 2000/2001 school year our ensemble learnt children's games from the Hungarian ethnic region of Mátyusföld in Slovakia. This show won much acclaim in professional circles, due to the way in which the girls' singing voice was utilised. This new choreography was first presented in the 15th of March festivities that took place in the Hall of Culture in Lučenec (Losonc). We participated in a number of domestic

 events and also represented our town in Hungary,  at the Somosköújfalu Regional Festival  and the Nógrád Festival in Salgótarján. However,  we have achieved our greatest success  and recognition at the Eszterlánc National Children's  Folk Dance Anthology event that  took place in Lucenec in September 2001. At this event  we won "The Most Promising  Ensemble" award.
